The city of brotherly love, Philadelphia, played host to the inaugural ISMPP Academy on September 28-29. This new meeting set an attendance record for an ISMPP fall meeting with 156 attendees from more than 70 companies representing various fields, including publishing, biotech, pharmaceuticals, device and diagnostic companies, communications agencies, tech providers, and medical societies.
ISMPP appreciates all attendees and faculty members who came together contribute to the networking, collaboration, education, and knowledge sharing, aimed at boosting publication and medical communication skills.
The theme of the event, “PREP! Practical Resources to Elevate Publications,” emphasized providing attendees with current industry updates, templates, and best practices, ready for immediate implementation to elevate their publication planning skills. The program structure featured both plenary sessions and smaller, interactive breakout sessions, fostering a dynamic and immersive learning experience for all participants. Attendees also explored the latest developments in Artificial Intelligence, focusing on its applications in medical communications, education, training, and more.
ISMPP Academy was a great success leaving attendees equipped with new knowledge, practical tools, and a strengthened network to propel their careers in medical communications and publications.
